What You'll Learn
Design Fundamentals: Explore knife design basics and select a blade style that matches your vision. Learn about different blade shapes, handle materials, and what makes a knife both functional and beautiful.
Essential Techniques: Get hands-on experience with core knife-making skills including blade shaping, grinding, basic heat treatment, handle fitting, and finishing. You'll work with professional tools and equipment under expert guidance.
Complete Build Process: Follow the journey from raw steel to finished knife. Experience every major step of knife making and understand what it takes to create a quality blade from start to finish.

Class Details
This is a full-day class (8+ hours) conducted one-on-one at AKU, starting at 10 AM and typically finishing by 5 PM. All materials are included based on your chosen design. You'll have access to AKU's complete workshop and professional-grade equipment. At the end of the day, you'll take home a finished, functional knife along with the skills and knowledge to understand the craft. This class requires no prior experience—just enthusiasm and willingness to learn.
