I came to AK University because I wanted a focused, one-on-one experience with a professional who could give me the specific attention needed to truly progress in my knife making.

This class completely blew past my expectations. I honestly feel like I grew more in just two days of hands-on instruction here than I did in the past four years of trying to work and learn in random shop spaces on my own. Beyond the technical skills—like mastering the grinds on both sides—the conversations we had opened up so many new avenues of creative inspiration for me.

There is unmatched value in the intimacy of learning directly from an expert who genuinely knows the craft inside and out. I would recommend this class 100%—in fact, I already want to bring my friends back to the shop just to show them how incredible the whole experience is.
