I was inspired to join AK University because I was ready for real, hands-on teaching from the best—and AKU delivered exactly that. From the moment the class started, I picked up unique techniques I still use today, like using a push stick to grind bevels more effectively. The hands-on experience was exceptional. Working one-on-one allowed me to refine my skills in a focused, supportive environment. What really surprised me was how much the class exceeded my expectations. I came in just wanting to learn how to attach handle scales, but I walked out with a whole new understanding of the entire knife-making workflow—it felt more like creating art than just building a tool. Every moment of the class was enjoyable. Until then, my only experience came from YouTube, and AKU helped connect the dots—no question went unanswered. My interest in knife-making has explo
