Exceeded My Expectations: Great for Both Beginners and Makers with Some Experience

I wanted to take a class at AK University to level up my skills and clean up my techniques. This was my first time taking a formal knife-making class, and it completely exceeded my expectations.

What really stood out to me was learning the layout lines for the grinding and the handle geometry—concrete techniques I didn't know before that make the work much easier. The entire shop environment and layout are clean and set up perfectly to streamline the process.

Andreas is an excellent instructor. His deep expertise and teaching style make the material incredibly accessible for absolute beginners, but it's equally valuable if you already have a little experience and want to refine your workflow. I learned a ton of practical skills and highly recommend AKU to anyone looking to build a solid foundation.
